SWKIF will host it’s first Nationals Team Prospects Practice on Saturday, the 15th of June in Dallas, TX at Greenhill School at 1pm – 4pm.
There is a $15.00 cash participation fee, which will be collected to help cover the Gym Rental cost.

Due to a an unannounced scheduling conflict today, Sunday the 7th of April, practice is CANCELLED!!!
Due Nabeshima Weekend, here is the planned schedule for our Tuesday classes though April:
April 2 – 7:15 to 9:30, All Kendo, Basic and Advanced with some Shiai matches.
April 9 – All Iaido, Basic and Advanced.
April 16 – 7:15 to 9:30, All Kendo, Advanced with some Shiai matches. All members are welcome as we prepare for the Taikai.
April 23 – 7:15 to 9:30, All Kendo, Shiai dress rehearsal. All members should plan to attend.
April 30 – 7:15 to 9:30, Jodo to 8:30, Kendo Keiko with Abe Sensei until 9:30.
Due to an Event at Greenhill, Practice on Thursday, the 4th of April is cancelled.
Practice will resume on Sunday the 7th of April.
We will need Volunteers to help with setting up the Phillips Gymnasium on Friday Night the 26th, running the Nabeshima Cup Taikai and Texas Open on Saturday, the 27th of April and on Sunday, the 28th of April for the SWKIF Spring Shinsa.
Nabeshima Weekend is our premier event and we will need all the help we can get.

The 2019 AUSKF/SWKIF Membership Drive, starts tomorrow, this year everything will be completed online including payment, via the AUSKF website listed below, however there may be an additional step, we awaiting further guidance.
You will first need to create your account and verify your information i.e. Rank, etc.
Then you will either Register for membership (First Timers – Please include the initation fees for AUSKF and SWKIF) or renew your current membership.
Please feel to reach out, if you have any questions or issues.
AUSKF and SWKIF Membership is mandatory for promotion testing and attending AUSKF/SWKIF Functions, it is is highly encouraged for all members.
The deadline is March 31st 2019.
If you plan on testing at the SWKIF Spring Shinsa on the 28th of April, please make sure and speak with Ichimura Sensei for his approval, prior to registering for the Shinsa. Also you must be a member of AUSKF/SWKIF.
